China ready to leave the windows with the new OS

China wants to be free of the shackles of the western world such as the Windows OS and Android. This bamboo curtain country is building the OS which could lead to concerns by tapping foreign software.

According to Xinhua news agency, China is to boost the domestic software industry. One of them is by developing alternative OS from Windows. The next step is to develop a mobile OS a.k.a Android alternative. Ni Guangnam, head of alliance development official OS mentioned that the OS will be presented in the spring.

Why China struggling to make its own OS? Hmm, still does not remember last May there was tension between the Chinese and Windows because Windows 8 prohibits so-called security threat. Then last month, Microsoft raided offices in China in antitrust investigations.

The new desktop China OS, which will be based on Linux, not long-term plan. It has already begun, at least according to Ni Guangnan. The Post and Telecommunications News from People he said: "We hope to launch a Chinese-made desktop operating system that supports app stores in October."
The first version of the OS is probably not as good as Windows. But the hope was left Widnows year or two years later, and Android in the next five years.
