Intel Core M: new series processors without fans

During the IFA 2014 that are taking place in Berlin, Intel unveiled a new series processors Intel® Core™ M. The chip was designed for 2in1 devices and laptops that do not require fans. The manufacturers will able to achieve a thinner design.
Intel Core M consumes only 4.5W of power, being the most energy-efficient processor. According to the manufacturer, it will achieve twice the battery life, keeping efficiency 50% higher than the previous fourth generation processors. Intel Core M is now on average twice as fast when it comes to calculations and seven times faster graphics processing of four PC.

Intel Core Area M is 50 percent lower compared to the previous generation. Their low current consumption heat is about 60% lower. This allows equipment manufacturers will not have to use fans, and designs for new devices can be thinner than 9 mm. Intel Core M processor price is likely around $ 600- $ 700.

Their products based on the new processor announced by companies such as Acer, ASUS, Lenovo, Dell, HP and Toshiba. Their 2in1 structures, and some of them have already been presented at IFA 2014.
